That is brutal. However, I really like the sounds of this event. How will you guys tell if it's the stock tune though?

This sounds like fun. It's a long drive from S Fla, but it might be worth the trip to lay down some sub 13 second runs. It'll prolly be hot as balls and the times will be a little slower for everybody.

That would be Great if you could make it! Itll be Hot and Humid! I was down at a NHRA race thier last year at the end of August and decided to change the converter at the track on my stocker. That was miserabable! Probably mid 80s to mid 90s and a D.A. like Pikes Peak.

The weather will have an equal effect one everybody. It would be great to take the top few spots in the stock category. Are you going? I think we've got them covered. How will they confirm stock?

Im hoping to even if I have to let my wife race it! Shes been wanting to make some passes down the track in it. Heck she might be faster than me??? GSO Challenger is planning a stock tech inspection as far as tuners go or internal mods that cant be seen were all screwed. Itll be on the honor system on that one. Hopefully we dont end up bringing a knife to a gun fight!

Well, if a "stock" chally runs a 12.30 or something crazy, we'll know there's shenanigans. I didn't go to C5fest partially cuz it was a long drive, but I know where I stand in the stock camaro category. Taking a few quick camaros to the challengers event would
be a whole other experience all together.

You've got that right. If our cars perform the way they should it could make for an intresting day in Mopar land. Anything can happen though.

Only 13 spots left! Have you thought about a gear swap in your car?

Id let Livernois decide that one! 3.45s arent enough in my opinion , Id say at least a 4.10 it all depends on what the car likes and the gear and RPM you want to cross the traps at. Most heavy cars like a lower gear to get out of the hole though.

3.45 was suggested by Andy. I think it was due to slipping into overdrive.

Well...if it turns out the Bogarts don't help the start much, than I would reconsider!
