HP expectation dyno, mods

Hey everyone, was wondering around how much hp and tq I can expect from a dyno tune with some basic mods installed already. CAI, shorty headers, cat delete and flowmaster exhaust. I guess it depends on who tunes it but just a ballpark figure maybe. Thanks! 2011 SS/RS 6speed manuel

Hmmm. I would guess an even 400 (square) with the shorties. Some guys have gotten at or over 420 with the LS3, bolt ons, and longtubes.

But you know how it goes. Every tuner and dyno is different. So don't get your heart broken if it doesn't make what you expected. It is just a number and a tool to use for when you make changes and dyno again in the future.

LT's on mine and CAI and X-pipe no cats being an L99 I got 365, so I'm guessing with the "shorties" you have and being an LS3 I would guess about 360 or so. The shorties will hold you back a lot whereas the LT's would have netted you more for sure.

Shorties with hi flow cats with my mods netted 370whp.After the longtube and cats install.....371whp. Where the longtubes outperform the shorties with cats is at the track. On the dyno the shorties drop off while the longtubes continue to make power all the way through the curve. Racing the same Mustang I would have him by over a car at 1/ 2 track but he put over a car on my by the end. With longtubes I was able to hold him of by 1/2 a car. So the longtubes made up almost 2 car lengths against the dame car. Longtubes are your best choice....but shorties with are better then what people give them credit for.

I found a great deal on the shorties but yeah I might return them and just get the longtubes. In a couple weeks iam getting 3:91 installed with the headers and a tune so we'll see. Thanks for the response! A cam might be next on the list
