Best Plugs for 2010-2013

In my efforts to increase my gas milage, I ran into a suggestion that a E3 plug
would increase milage. Still floating around 15.6 with my 2013 V.6.

Same time I wanted to do my former car a 2010 V.6 I gave my little brother.
Researched this here and online and they all suggest I use 6 E3-74 .
These fit a 2009 Malibu with the same engine. None of the local stores stock these and appear to be special order and there software say's it won't fit my Camaro either one??? Any Insight

Most of the folks just use NGK, or stay with the AC Delco iridium's.. I use NGK. Don't know of anyone running the E3's.. Ever. lol. But if you must, I'd get them from here.

E3 plugs are snake oil. NGK make a Ruthinium plug that probably will give you better milage,

At what point should these plugs be replaced on the V6? I believe mine are still original and I have 99k miles on it. It still runs very well.

Oil concerns

I put the plugs in both cars, what concerns me is my old 10 that I gave my brother has a significant amount of oil around the base of the plugs, It's plugs were the expected brown on them no sign of burning. No oil loss on stick yet here it is on half his plugs. The coil's were like new yet here it is on the top of three out of six plugs. Hmmmm Mine did not have this but mine has 56k he has 95k. Last but not least what would cause the threads to be dry yet the shaft was soaked?

From Chevy How often should you change spark plugs on a Camaro?
every 30,000 miles
Your owner's manual will have a precise answer, but it's usually recommended to change spark plugs every 30,000 miles.

Hope that helps ya

They are supposed to be 100k mile plugs but I wouldn't wait that long. I probably would check them at like 75k on a stock engine. Maybe even sooner on a v6 that gets lots of 87 octane.

Totally agree here. On the V6 I would be looking to probably change them out around 75-80k, especially if you don't have a catch can to keep the oil out of the intake system. Or at least check them at this point.

There is no way stock plugs in a V6 3.6 would last 99k on plugs. Have you seen the one's coming out....on the 2010 it has 95-k on her and they been changed and they were wiped out. Mine has 56k on the 2013 factory plugs and they were wiped. The 10 barely had electrode's left. I may be new but I am not that new...))
