Exactly, I'm generally discussing where to place a firearm in a CAMARO...

It's sad because of what? If I was a police officer and pulling someone over who I knew had a gun, I would be very cautious. You never know who has anger management or something else that could cause them to possibly get violent. If you don't like that treatment, don't carry a gun. I'm usually anti cop, but in this case, I see no problem with them watching out for there own life. It's not hurting you, but it could be saving them.

Good ideas in the thread. I thought about getting something smaller than my G17 for CCW especially now that I carry a smaller purse (when I have one on me at all). I do have a nice Fobus holster that I like and another made out of leather. I really like the idea of something small and on the visor.

The body guard . 380 is the perfect small frame gun to carry . Easy enough to carry for summer time . You can just keep it holstered and barely feel like your carrying .

He's saying that if you were approved for such a permit, you are supposed to be trustworthy enough to not go crazy with your firearm just for getting pulled over, but obviously the cops think otherwise.

I carry my xds45 on my side everyday and have a seat holster from cabelas with a S&W body guard 380 on my drivers seat. Also have one on my seat in my silverado. I've had my cwp since 1997 and never had to use my gun so far and hope I never will but you never know with all the crazy people nowadays

Not in every state. It is getting that way in NY but they actually do NOT have the right to ask you if you have a firearm on you/ in the car just because you have a permit to carry concealed or not. Cops do NOT have the right to harass you.

That said, If did have it in the car I would most certainly tell them. Especially the way I drive!

In Texas the CCW is cross referenced with the owner of the car and your drivers license.

Best I've found is a StealthGear IWB for the Glock 19 and 26.
