coldair intake affects warranty?

does puttin a coldair intake void aa camaros warranty and if it does is there any that doesnt void it

I am curious to see some answers also.

OP. Suggestion...pop those ugly ass gray rings off your rims...spray paint them orange or black. Looks 100x better. I did that with my Victory Red LS I had. Great color choice though. As you can see I am a fan of orange lol.

No, it wont void your warranty. Get familiar with the Magnusson-Moss warranty act. GM has to prove that the item you installed caused the problem in order to deny your warranty claim.

I've had mine in for warranty work (its in right now matter of fact). No mention of the CAI except that it exists.

I called GM and talked to a representative about Modifications, The Rep said that you can modifify your Car , But as FastSS said as long as the Mod did not cause the issue.

We had a dealer tell us that a CAI would void the warranty.
He also told us some parts offered in the GM Performance Parts catalog would void the warranty too.... We were informed to switch back to the stock air box if warranty work was
needed........
It's just an excuse not to fix the car............

I just had the MAF replaced under warrantee, but I had to remove the CAI for them to find the problem. car had 800 miles on it.
