Why does my camaro LS not look as good as others? Am I crazy?

Okay, so since I saw the first concept Camaro, a few years ago, I have wanted one SOOOOO bad. So 12 days ago I decided to stop by every Chevy dealer in my town (Tulsa) and put all of them to work trying to get me financed, etc... I ended up having my pick of every available color in 1LS and 2LS models. I drove the 1LS first then the 2LS. I liked the manual transmission in the 1LS better, since it is a 6cyl. I was able to get the performance I wanted. So I picked an Ashen Grey Metallic 1LS.

No, to my point. I LOVE the car, but it seems to missing something. All I can think of is it has the standard black rally wheels. Maybe its the "pop" of the "nicer" wheels. To me, it seems the stance is different. Is there a difference or am I crazy?

It's the wheels. Check out the members sale section on this site. You should be able to find a set of factory RS 20" wheels that would really set it off.

No, I think rims would be a great start. I noticed that driving behind a ls the other day. Don't get me wrong, still a great looking ride. Get at least 20's imo.

The problem is, it is stock. Not just the wheels, but lots of samll, inexpenseive things you can do to make it sparkle. Put the trim rings back on and paint them. Krylon does just fine if you prep well. cost you about $10 bucks for all 4.

Trim rings will make it pop.

I'm the same way. I get compliments on mine all the time but I look around on here and see all these super nice rides and I look at mine and it feels not so quite up to par.

I put the rings back on the day after I took those photos. It does look better with them. What color would you suggest painting the rings?

Yeah, it's the wheels. I don't know what the hell GM was thinking sticking those on a brand new car in 2012.

Well, a set of 20" it is then. I just did not know if they had different stances between the models. If I put 20" on, will I have to have my speedometer calibrated?

Agreed with everyone else... It's the wheels. Change them out, and you'll change the look of the car... Just look at these for example:

The money you saved on the car, you can get new wheels. That's what I did.

I was the same way with my LS and I agree. It is those wheels.

Wheels. Wheels make or break a car.
