Ordered My First Camaro! What Can I Expect?

I just placed my order for my first Camaro! I Ordered a 2016 2LT RS V6, Hyper Blue Metallic color with white ceramic seats. I am so freakin' pumped. Can't wait. This hyper blue metallic color is all new to the Camaro and it looks wicked AWESOME in ALL of the pictures I have seen. I am currently driving the 2014 Chevy Impala LS tenth generation with black clearcoat finish but only with 4 cylinder engine, 196 hp. This has been a great car. But it is a large sedan and its getting a little too big for me. I have wanted a Camaro since forever! But I got married, had a couple of kids, no money, you guys know the story. But, now the kiddies are off to college and it's time to obtain the car I have always wanted.

What I do know about the 2016 2LT RS V6 is it's quick rated at 335 hp, 0-60 in 5.1 seconds. This will be a daily driver for me. I am in Cleveland and have already looked at getting 20" snow tires. Perhaps from tirerack.com?

Question: Going from a 2014 Impala LS to a Camaro

What Else Can I Expect?

Thanks!!
Zack46

You can expect it to be more fun than the Impala!

Good color choice! I am hoping to pick up a 2017 1SS or 2LT myself.

you're gonna love it! trust me. I went from a 2000 camaro to a 2014 brand new camaro. Everywhere you go it will catch peoples eye and you will get lots of compliments. It's real fun to drive, specially when you press hard on the gas haha

White Seats!! Don't wear dark blue jeans!! You will spend more time trying to get the stain out then actually driving the car!! But other than that you will love it!! Just talked to my dealership and secured the number 1 allocation for the vert when it comes out!! now begins the waiting game!

Congrats.

The new V6 engine is the 6th Gen is going to be impressive for sure. I love my LFX V6 engine when I own a 13' Camaro RS. These cars are lookers...people love to check them out.

Enjoy and post some pics when you get the car. I'd like to see this "new" blue when it hits the streets.

They said they did lots of testing and that we shouldn't worry about it, they are super stain resistant or some such.

I love the look, but I don't trust anything being that stain resistant. Over time, they'll have to wear down and absorb the colors. Too bad, I'd get them otherwise.

Damn, Now I'm kinda second guessing my choice of ceramic white seats. If I clean them with soap and water once a week that might help. Its just I'm tired of always having jet black interior. What do you guys suggest? Keep the ceramic white seats or try to change my order to jet black? What do you guys (or friends of yours) use to keep white leather seats clean?

Welcome and Congratulations!

Blue is the color im going to get great choice but about the interior I say save the trouble and get your car in the other colors,I suggest kalahari or adrenaline red(thats what im going to get).they say its stain resistant but honestly I don't buy it.bmw and porsches have white and beige but even those cars get stains after some time, you can try to clean it but it never gets like day 1.there is some kind of a protection layer on them but its gone after time.

Ordered

I'm not sure, but I believe that once you reach 3000 status and have a TPW you can't change your order otherwise you have to get in the back of the line. Not sure of the other status codes.
