I purchased a new PowerMaster starter, and it resolved all my hot start issues immediately.

I think others have posted they replaced their starter with a Powermaster only to have the problem reoccurr soon after due to the header heat soak affect on the starter coils. Post back in a few mos on how it’s doing. Good luck

I went and got a grade 8 3/8 bolt fine threaded ( guy said USA thread xD ) and 4 washers. they didnt make a bolt that was short enough. The hole is maybe 2/3" deep and smallest they made is a 1" long. head is a 14mm on mine. Tightened and grounded to the grade with the existing one pictured. DAy 1. Drove 11.6 miles to get gas, groceries and money. Started like it was cold perfectly every single time. ill be ordering a shorter stud bolt to replace it with to ensure perfect contact later. I ran a 0 gauge run of knukonceptz kolossus 16" long with 2 copper lugs on the ends.

Worth the money.

I have a stupid question - are the copper lugs easy to attach to a length of 0 gauge wire? I would like to do this myself, but am not finding ready-made 0 gauge ground wires with copper lugs already attached. Thanks

Large blade screw driver, brick. make a cross or something to comrpess it. not the best but it can work. I used a hydraulic crimp on mine. i have the tools xD I can make it if you want. DM me. comes with bolt and washers. all grade 8

Thanks. I really got the car hot today. I mean hard hard driving. let it sit to haetsoak for 10 minutes while i got a haircut. Results are amazing. Oil was 200+ degrees, trans was a bit over normal driving temp, coolant was 206 degrees, drove for 3 hours.

YEA I KNOW the bulbs out. I had to stop for new ones after this video was made. i wanted it as hot as possible.

- bought a new battery, same

- wrapped starter with heat shield, same

gauged the volt value at the starter when engine was hot,
there were 2 volt less than directly from the battery in the trunk

solution:
installed an additional ground wire from the engine block
to the chassis, now hot starts work same as cold starts

attached a picture of the new cable

i had this issue more than 5 years.
after additional ground wire i think may you need a new starter
