Add one more day.
Have it at Bowling Green again.
Have a mobile chassis dyno on site.
I think the kinks will work themselves out on round two in the same location.

Have it somewhere in the dead center of the US so people will stop complaining about location. STL or KC would be cool.

The best part about Zello is if you miss the message or can't understand it due to noise etc you can play back the history anytime you want. Thanks again for that idea.
The ZELLO app sounds like a great idea.

I like the idea of a mobile dyno also. Might need two with the number of cars that attended...

Awesome idea on the dyno especially when vendors are providing part installs/tuning.

100% agree on the Dyno. I think it would stay busy all day, both days.

I agree with the Dyno, I wrote about in another thread, to separate Drag classes by HP.
"I would say, have a Dyno at next one, doesn't need to be free (maybe at a discount), most people wants to dyno their car anyways, even the show and shine ones. This way would be more evenly matched, V6 Nitrous or Turbo could run with a V8, and the 25HP gap would be a judgment call, say you made 385HP but have drag tires, you would go to the upper HP class and so forth.

Then do HP Classes.
300-375
400-475
500-575
600+ "

That's called Index Racing and you do it by time not HP. We did it at Fest I.

Dyno's are up to the vendors who bring them. We've had a dyno at a 3 different fests in the past. I have no idea why anyone would want to dyno their car without tuning along with it. The track is right there and trap speed is your "real" dyno.

One last thing and that's to the food vendors, again Technology is your friend, SquareUp and you can charge any credit card with a phone or tablet, I don't carry cash, I am guessing a lot people are the same way, I am sure they could make a lot more sales.
Both good ideas. I haven't been to a track in ages that did not broadcast the PA on the fm band so people could get it on their radios. Houston had it. Solved that issue.

I think there should be a little more time between elimination rounds during the bracket races, not everyone can hot lap their car. and possibly the addition on a burnout contest somewhere at the track, to lower the possibility of one breaking out at the Host hotel.

Anyone else?
I think there should be a Where's Waldo all weekend. If you see Mike Lee, TAG or another mod then you walk up and hand them a $20 gift card for one of the local vendors and they'll autograph your C-Fest shirt.

They had over the fm radio, but any over 50 yards from the tower you would get static, which defeated the purpose.

Index racing then, they put me on V8 Mod, because I had a BBK PTB, no headers, no CAM, no HF Cats. While I see a car o V8 with Headers and CAM. The end result was and 13 sec car vs a 11 sec car.
And I would dyno my car just to get a idea, but I could tune as well with the dyno, plus the vendors could install upgrades parts and then dyno and tune to the new upgrades.
Just a thought, I had no idea if it is feasible or even worth to have a set up like that at the Fest.
Still I had the time of my life, can't wait to the next one.

Tons of great ideas havent seen a bad one yet.

I think what we the C5 nation need to do is something for our moderators who set all this up and keep this site going so well year in and out.
