Silly question from a noob - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi guys, just wanted to say love the board and the 5th gen Camaro even more!! I have had over six LSX cars including a supercharged 2008 Corvette coupe at about 700hp and now I am back in the market again.

I had a question though. I noticed that on a red ss at a dealership near me it seemed to have silverish ground effects on the side of the car and the front of it. The other two Camaros they were selling did not have this. Is that part of the RS package or something else? I liked the way it looked on the SS. Anyway I think you guys have awesome cars and within a year or so I hope to join you guys.

I am going to sit back and see what if anything develops with all the Z28 speculation. If nothing comes of it I figure I can pick up a nice SS shortly after and let the modding begin. Thanks guys

Just the ground effect option thats available. It comes in almost cyber grey unpainted but can be painted to match if you desire for a little cash. Good luck and welcome to the site

This is likely the Ground Effects (GFX) package. A dealer installed accessory. Some guys are leaving them gray, some are painting them body color. You can get it installed on any trim level.
