5 spoke wheels
Has any one had a problem with the finish on your wheels, I had one replaced already for the finish flaking off, and now a different wheel has what looks like a stain on the inside of the wheel. I clean them weekly with meguiars cleaner. I thought I read about this before but can't find the post. It is in a hard spot to see with a picture. I might try to make a case to swap them with the 10 spokes if possible, last time GM gave me a coupon credit since it took about 3 months to replace.

I remember reading about it too. The only thing I can contribute is that my 10 spokes are starting to look speckled after only 3500 miles. By speckled I mean that some debris has pecked away at the black finish, exposing the metal beneath it. First time I've ever had black rims so I'm not sure if it's normal but damn if it isn't aggravating. Maybe hold out a little while to see if there's any other options coming with the '14s

Yea I have a couple spots that look like maybe road gravel because you can see light scratches near the markings and I'm ok with that, shit happens when you drive the car, but the poor finish needs to be address by GM.
The funny thing about my other wheel was after the dealer and GM said that they would replace the wheel I let my son drive the car and he tapped the curb so I actually came out ahead.
