Why no M6 Street Tire Drag Class this year?
I really enjoyed watching it last year myself, why not have it at this years fest? I was planning on running the class until I seen the list of classes.
Even if its not a Pay out class I think we would get plenty of participants and some great racing. Obviously Id love to see it have a payout but Im not here for money Im here for the fun. And the most fun im going to have racing is in a M6 class myself and I know im not the only one. Especially since as far as I know you can run as many classes as you want so I don't see how this isn't a class even if its not a pay out class like the others. |

Sorry for the late reply on this one. Good question and yes it was a great class last year.
The reason for the change is we have matched the classes one for one with Autocross (not an easy task) to make things flow smoothly between the events and allow cars to participate in both. Cars will only have one number for both autox and drags and this will also designate the class. Maybe we can gather up some folks on Saturday morning during test and tune and set up a grudge match ladder to let you guys do this one or late Friday after the bracket racing ends. I can have the announcer can just call you up to the lanes and we'll line you up for fun. |
