Protect front splitter from scrapping end of driveway?

What's everyone doing to protect the bottom of the front splitter from scrapping the end of the drive when you pull in and out?

My drive is a particular problem since is has a rounded curb instead of the more traditional cement cut out.

In my SS I could avoid scrapping the bottom if I approached or came down at a sharp angle. This method didn't work yesterday with the ZL1 -- scrapped the driver's side edge the first time I pulled into the drive. I also scrapped the splitter coming down a friends drive with a relatively steep incline.

At this rate I'll have a chewed up splitter bottom in no time. Any suggestions to protect it will be most appreciated.

You should move, or give me your Camaro.

I have the same problem with my driveway. :(

Certainly an option. Wonder how a piece of metal will affect the aerodynamic balance of the car?

Definitely a cheap solution. I don't think the city or my neighbors for that matter would be real happy if it altered the storm water run off on my street. That darn sewer grate at the end of my drive collects storm water for the entire cul de sac.

So far I like the Bridjit product because it allows the storm water to drain underneath it.

Here is the other pic. The work in this unit, is getting a angle on the guard. You do not want it to be a square corner or it will catch on something.

The front of it will be black also. I do have ten of them right now. Email if interested. John@gsimaviation.com

This subject has been previously mentioned/discussed.
Somebody is going to fabricate a metal plate to help solve the problem.

Yes, that one is not out yet. I do have some ready to ship. I will have a new idea for protecting the screws for little cost.

It is going to be a cone washer you can put anywhere on the bottom to protect all the way across the splitter.
Just replace them if you wear them out.

I was not wanting to disrupt the air with the splitter guard all the way across.
