Whst you guys think? I use BF on the wheels too look really nice! I got another question? since is raining now if I wash the car tomorrow to wax it I have to sealant again?

The rain stop i hope is dry tomorrow so after work i just wipe and wax... QUESTION??? It's there a difference in results between hand apply or PC the sealant? I feel more easy apply sealant by hand...

No difference, machine is just faster and easier to get a thinner layer. I (and I'm guessing most people) tend to use more product by hand than machine when it comes to wax and sealant.

Yes.
I tried applying wax with the flex and a black soft pad. Even coat of wax thru out the whole process. Less swipes of the wax as well.

I always apply wax by hand (like with my actual hand) or a foam applicator and sealants by machine.

So, how you cover the small & curve areas with the PC? Plus because it so small the amount of sealant use on each area I was feeling that the machine wasn't doing anything...

The introduction on the BF bottle said: use only a dime size amount of sealant for every 2x2 area, when I put that amount on the pad and start doing my 1st pass, I didn't see the sealant on the paint, that's why I applied by hand...

The way I do it is kind of make a ring or spiral on the pad. Then I tap the pad around on the paint to spread it around. Then turn on the machine and actually apply it.

I use a lot more than a dime size, bit I also work a much larger section than 2x2. On a Camaro my sections are:

Divide the hood in half. 2 sections
Front fender panel (smaller, less sealant)
Each door is one section and hit the mirrors
Divide roof in half and hit the pillars
Each rear quarter
Trunk lid
Rear fascia
Front fascia

Does that make sense? I'm doing a truck tomorrow I can take some pics if its not too late.

So do you think it's necessary to prime a pad for a sealant or wax since you're really just spreading the product instead of working it into the paint?
