i've never used any, and i'm looking for a starter DSLR. Looking at the comparisons, I think Nikon's look a little better, performance wise...

i am looking at canon t3i/t4i vs nikon d3100/d5100...

if i had the choice right now. i'd get the nikon d5200. but that's a bit out of my price range. lol

i am looking at canon t3i/t4i vs nikon d3100/d5100...

For usability and quality for a novice to intermediate. I'd say canon all the way. The user interface on the camera is so much nicer and is really smooth.
