The answer is none....cut those eyesores out from under the rearend. Put some pipe in its place with chrome tips at a muffler shop for around a hundred bucks. It'll be the best $100.00 you could spend. Put your money towards a set of headers.

Like hunter said, none. Go with a Solo kit and guarantee no drone with your muffler delete. Solo Mach XL catback for L99 is excellent!

Headers may give you drone on an L99, if you go mufferless, ask me how I know ;o). I did stainless muffler delete and added the solo jpipes with muffler delete when I added my headers. It helped, but drone still popped up. Solos themselves may help if you have headers... Verify with them...

Start with the headers first. There are plenty of posts here. Headers will change the sound of the stock exhaust.
