First make sure all the top TSBs have been performed. The wrinkles you have do seem excessive to me.

I guess I am not as picky as some since I am not too concerned about slight wrinkles. As long as mine stays wear free and goes up and down ok I am not too concerned. Mine is probably cycled from once to as many as five times a day and in the 11 weeks we have had it it has gone through at least 200 cycles. Yeah it has a few wrinkles, sometimes more than others and sometimes they completely dissapear but I can't see them when driving with the top down anyway....
This morning my wife and I went to Chic-fil-A for breakfast. 3 people came upto us and told us what a beautiful car we had. Yeah the top was up and showed a few wrinkles.... But it is still getting compliments.

fabric folded for a while will wrinkle. Mine gets the white marks and wrinkles. but I put it up and clean it. leave it that way for a day and the wrinkles are gone. as long as there aren't any holes or legit rub marks you're good.

As long as there is no fraying of the material you should be fine. But from the pics there seems to be significant folding with pressure applied? I would at least document it though the dealer so if material problems happen you can call them on it.

Dumb question, but would a garment steamer help with those wrinkles at all?

I was thinking the same thing. Steam should tighten it up.

Until it is put down again... Just like a nice pair of ironed pants will wrinkle the first time you sit down.

Here's some pics of my '12 2LT---Build Date 8/2/11 Currently 11300 miles

I just power washed the top on Friday and it poured this morning, these are marks or wrinkles, not dirt. I have no holes yet, but am not too thrilled with how it looks.
That having been said, I am willing to let it go through this winter and see how well it holds up, maybe next spring I will begin agitating for a new top. I have had the dealer document it twice so far. It had the TSB 'enhancements' done on it 4/3/12.
I put it up and down a lot with the good weather.

Driver's Side Rear

Passenger Side Rear

Driver Side 'V' marks

Passenger Side 'V' marks

Rag top guy, how far down does your top fold? It kind of looks like it may be going down too far in the well and causing excessive pressure where the wrinkles are. Those V marks show that it is being pinched there. Could you take a pic of it in the well?

Next time I put it down, I will do that. When they did the enhancements in April, the service mgr. did tell me that they did some kind of adjustment to the stop. It goes down beneath the lip when it's down.

I think the front center of my top is flush with the top of the back seat when down, the sides are below the edges. I will go out in a few minutes and take a pic of mine as reference for you.

here are the pics I just took

Thanks. And you don't have the 'v' marks because of that? Is that what you are getting at?
