Sounds like a great way to enjoy your car. Garage, driveway, and parking. Really living life to the fullest I see.

As I said before I seldom go to Walmart. In fact the closet WM to me is about 5miles away. When I do go to Walmart and I seldom do, I get my car and drive about a mile from my house and park my car way from the traffic and walk the other 4 miles.

This usually works.. Find another nice car that is clearly taken care of and park beside them (I still leave a spot between out of respect)...it doesn't always work, but is better than parking by yourself; that seems to attract jerks.

Remember, it's the ME society now. People on cell phones in their cars putting everyone else in danger, look at ME on Facebook, IG, whatever... it spills over in all public places. They don't care if they dent your ride, because it's all about THEM! Remember, you didn't work hard, get marketable skills, take risks and succeed to get your car...you're just privileged.

Now that the rant is over, there are still ton's of respectful people out there, but they seem harder to find the older I get. I know, I'm getting old and grumpy I guess.

Car attention

I've said it for years. Have a jalopy park it amongst hundreds they won't get near it. Have a nice car park 100 miles away and there will be someone run up against it, scrape it, touch it, and screw it up. I don't understand it.

If you do not mind sharing your grandchild's first name, i would like to say prayers for him/her.

I seem to attract parking lot vagrants looking for a handout. They probably think I have a cushy job and have no idea how many hours of overtime it took to buy my car.

Same here, I'm young , 23, always get the beggars coming up to me, but I worked and still am working my ass off to pay for my car.

In terms of door dings and parking, parking at the very back works for me, haven't gotten dinged yet and hoping it stays that way.

Prayers for your grandchild. You have EXACTLY the right perspective.

Had a ding in less than 3 days. Ask my fiancée how I feel about other people and she will go on a rant! I park as far away from people as possible. I choose lone spots, end spots, spots I can park way across the line to give room. But no matter where I park I come out to a crowd of cars. Go to chipotle? 6 spots by the door? Empty. My car that's 15 spots from the door, cars on both sides. Wtf?
