Trent, I will be joining you again for the trip. Hopefully we will have a few more this time.

I plan on staying over this year, so you better remember to stop at duty free so there is enough to go around LOL!!! Can't wait, looking forward to this again.. Should be a blast!
I sort of remembered but we were on a time schedule with Trent. This year, I will be bringing 5 cases from here plus another 5-8 when I am at duty free. The Beer Store prices were insane! I think I paid $300 American for 6 cases.

I'll be flying in from Arizona. Think I could get someone to pick me up at the airport?

Which one? I am 15 minutes from Detroit Metro. Cheaper than Toronto.

That's a very good point actually. Airfare when flying between the US and Canada is generally a lot more expensive than flying within the US. Also, flying into Canada requires that you MUST have your passport. As posted earlier, crossing a land boarder does not. I don't know who all will be coming up from the NY/Buffalo area and what arrangements can be made, but there could be serious cost savings to flying into Buffalo or Detroit and hitching a ride with someone driving in from that area. I'm not trying to coordinate carpools here... you guys can look into that. But this is another way to make this even accessable to those who are further away.

Now unfortunately, none of the big-name car rental companies have Camaros for rent here in Canada. We're too conservative I guess But we like it that way . If you're wanting to rent one for the weekend instead of driving your baby all that way, you'll have to go to one of the off-brand or exotics rental agencies.

Tucson to Buffalo not a direct flight (8-10 hours with layovers) and $490. Tucson to Detroit $207 and a 5-6 hour flight with layovers.

We went through this last year with a guy wanting to come in from Phoenix.

Looks like the logical choice would be to fly into Detroit. Would more then likely have to fly in on Thursday.

Is there no direct flight to Detroit? Really? OK maybe not fromTucson. But from Phoenix there must be. It's about 5.5 hrs Toronto to Pheonix. But the flight would definately be > $1000. Fly to Detroit, rent a car, or hitch a ride.
