I am making slow progress for my Zl1 bumper. I have limited hours to work on it due to my shop being so busy but I am at the mid point, so I made a PART 1 video of my progress so far. I posted the video on Youtube and it is 25 minutes long but is very comprehensive for those who would like a step by step process. You can ignore some of the video because I had to move some components because I have a twin turbo set up. I hope this is informative.

So I know people been having issues with the ZL1 fog lights
So here’s my issue I had my ones that came with kit broke. So I ordered new ones tested everything boom everything works like it’s suppose to. As soon as I put bumper on and bolt it up, the DRL won’t work when turn signal is plugged in. Then I finally get it to work by just cycling lights on and off. Then the switch backs for fog lights won’t work.
I have the Fog light spliced into DRL for headlight because I want the fog lights on all the time. And I spliced the switch back to the turn signal. Any suggestions

Do what I did and run the fogs off the ignition fuse with an addafuse I have mine protected with a 5 just in case but no issues thus far and my fogs are on whenever the car is

The whole 14-15 wiring on a 10-13 is an absolute nightmare I still don't have mine working yet. I had to walk away before I went ballistic what got me was I kept killing the battery and did not know it from so many tests so something would work then wouldn't. Almost had a mental breakdown lol not really but shit was flying in the garage. and I even call two headlight shops to fix and wire correctly and neither wanted anything to do with it

First is of the addafuse to the ignition fuse

Second is the load coming off that, splits off to the 5 amp fuse inline and then to the power on the fogs

Finally got the painting finished on my ZL1 Ikon front bumper. All the pieces are simply setting in their respective positions because I am not ready to install them permanently. But you get the idea.

What splitter did you use?
Looks good btw!

I’ve had this bumper for a couple months now and just saw this post lol.
I need to work on the sagging as well.

I made my own splitter because all the splitters I looked at stick out too far and I don't want to rip it off on a curb. I use the (2) 10MM bolt hole on the bottom subframe to secure it and should eliminate bumper sag.
