My other one lasted about 15 years and had to replace a couple parts on it earlier in the year. Then about 2 weeks ago, it stopped going down. It came up fine. I was going to replace the circuit board, but after checking them out at Sears, just grabbed a new one. It was only $200.

That is always fun I have one now thats sounds like a small chain rattling, making a tingle tingle sound and only once in awhile and not under the same conditions. probably the catch can..lol

Nope. It's a 3 minute job fauker. You can't mess it up. Put the socket on the bolt and turn the whole thing to the drivers side and the belt will slack.


Go try it right now. You don't have to take it off just try it

Nah, wait till Sat. I know it will slacken, thats what the idler is for.Slakened to much once and flew off in the old buick. $250 damage
