Was this due to the cam install? It was my understanding that the ac compressor could just be moved out of the way. Also, there needs to be specific oil in the system, as well as the correct amount.

Oil pressure bypass failed ... pitted the lifters destroyed the cam, and had to replace a lot of things. It was a frustrating time for sure!
