FS: 2018 NGM 1SS 1LE, only 750 miles

Sold... Farewell Camaro6

As the Title states I have a basically brand new car for sale (No PDR). The car is Nightfall Grey Metallic and is in showroom condition. This car is currently in a heated garage on a Battery Tender.

I had the first oil changed at ~500 miles just as GM recommends for the corvette LT1 (part number (19353135) - Mobil 1 0w-40 with dexos2). Break-in (run-in) was meticulously performed.

I purchased the car really wanting a ZL1. For those who missed the opportunity to get the last 1LE with the nice front end, now is your chance. I am asking $35500 for the car. Title in hand...

If you want more pics I can email or text, however the car is exactly like all other 1SS 1LE's. I'm located in Northern NJ.

Your post says you’re asking 38,500. What am I missing? Or is it a typo?

I think the OP has a fair price with being open to offers. When was the last time anyone truly paid the dealer's advertised price? How about fees, accessories, destination, and all the nonsense they add....not to mention the bs back and forward.

Thank you sir! I have been on Autotrader and the price is definitely fair. The MSRP on this car was just a hair under $46K. The car is literally new.

I would also like to mention that about 200 miles were from the ride home from the dealer. I varied my speed and RPM every mile driven prior to the oil change.

This is a beautiful car.

Just an idea, but didn't you consider adding a supercharger instead? You'll lose at least 10 grand on the trade-in, and then you'll still have to pay for a ZL1. You could have a Maggie or a Whipple for the loss you're about to incur, they both come with 3 or 5 year powertrain warranties, you'd have the same power level, and since this is a 1LE, it'd be pretty close to a ZL1, except for the exact look and the convenience goodies. Oh, and you'd retain the nice rear end, too, in case you were thinking of getting a '19 ZL1.

That will be my back up plan for sure, it was all along. The biggest problem is the power potential. I don't want to spend the money and not be satisfied with the measly 550whp... Honestly if I keep the car I might do a max effort small cam build (w/ported heads). 525whp NA on pump might just be awesome. Drivability needs to be stock like. My 2010 was pretty bad ass, even with a small cam.

All that said, ZL1's can handle huge power on pump gas.

Back on topic. People also need to consider that dealers cannot get around sales tax. A private sale can save there too. Did I mention that the car is new???

I appreciate guys like you that buy brand new cars and sell them for a loss with little to no mileage. Lol That is how I picked up my 2016 with 900 miles for 10k off the window sticker.

In all seriousness, you would be better off installing a Whipple and fuel system. Make 600-650whp and call it a day. Yeah the LT4 has huge power potential but you will never put anymore power to the ground unless you plan on doing 80 rolls or install a drag wheel setup with slicks. Pretty much negates the point of a 1le.

With the offers I am getting it looks like I might just do that... Or perhaps a max effort small cam build (with heads). It really isn't the power potential, it's the boosted LT1 that worries me.
