We have been working on a lower-cost, RGB controller for these parts. NightOwl is king of RGB, but, we felt that there should be something several notches down from that, as not everyone wants all of the power, or, expandability.

After we investigated the typical, import offerings, and, found that they were less than reliable, we started making our own. Along the way, found a cool product from a different part of the globe that uses Bluetooth LE for control via smartphone, or, tablet.

The controller itself is only 1.5" square and just over a half inch thick...

The app is basic, but, functional, and, will be expanded upon shortly. There are even several patterns/effects that can be controlled...

The price for these controllers would be $69 each. Let us know if you are interested!

I'm interested in the cup holder (flat black), foot wells, and map light all in red. I've got a '14 2SS, any compatibility issues with t-taping the cup holder and foot wells lights?

I was looking at ordering:

Dash ABL Light Pipe Kit

ABL LED

How difficult is it to install the dash ABL? Are there any close up pictures of it installed?

Also, you stated earlier in the post that the cupholder light came in chrome or brushed finishes, but I don't see those options on the site, It only shows matte or gloss black. Is there anything close to the silver trim around the gearshift? Is the RGB what is required to have the cupholder light change colors?

Are the above items what would be needed for a 2012 2LT 45th Anniversary? Also for checkout it asks for coupon code. Are there coupons?

The dash ABL is not difficult. It can be a bit tedious, though, getting the light pipe at the right height and angle.

There was not much interest in the chrome/brushed, but, we can do those.

Yes, color-changing requires RGB LEDs and a controller.
