Keep this in mind too.

Regardless of who makes the intake for GM, the Z/28 air filter is a DRY filter. K&N to my knowledge, does not make a dry filter for any Camaro.

Going dry means you never have to worry about over-oiling or going through the overnight cleaning/oiling process like the rest of them out there. You simply replace it when it gets dirty.

Some people like the reusable filter, but some would rather not deal with it.

The Z/28 intake is just another system out there that actually does work. Not sure about the facts behind the presumed L99 issue, unless it has something to do with AFM and MAF calibrations. Which I'm thinking if you're tuning, it likely won't matter anyway.

One good thing about the Z28 CAI is that it comes with a new MAF sensor. So, if you think you might have the weak one on your car, you get to replace it.

K&N does actually make a dry filter for the Camaro. I bought one, I believe it is the 71 series but they do make one. http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?prod=71-4519. Unable to post a picture at the moment but here is a link.

The Z-28 intake does require a custom tune with special MAF calibration specific to the Z-28 intake system which is different from the factory MAF cal that is currently in your computers.

I provide Custom tunes via the SCT X4 tuner that will take full advantage of all the power available from your combination.

Ted.
