what to do to acheive a deeper sound

I have kooks longtube headers 1 7/8" airraid CAI Flowmasters 10 series and resonator delete...

it's a bit raspy and pretty raspy... I wanted to know what the best thing to do to make it deeper and less rasp. put the resonator back on or stock mufflers or what?

I've heard a resonated xpipe from magnaflow would help with some of the rasp and help make the tone slightly deeper. Might make it a bit quieter but probably not much.

This. Swapping cat backs is an easier option.

Flowmaster's Super 10 Mufflers are a very aggressive muffler, almost straight-piped in terms of aggressiveness. For a deeper, bassier tone you could consider looking at our Super 44 Series or Super 40 Series mufflers, both of which will give you that deeper tone but still maintaining an aggressive sound.

If you'd like, give us a ring at 707-544-4761 and somebody can go over your options with you to help you find the right sound for your car.

Changing mufflers is typically the easiest and least expensive way to do it.

Along with the muffler and how it is designed you can also change tips..just like your brass instruments in the band....this works similar. A larger flared tip will give you a deeper tone than a small straight tip.

Other than that...increase compression, and increase displacement will do it too.

This would give you an idea of what our mufflers sound like.

Kooks to Borla S-Type would be a great choice! That's a very popular combo for us here at the shop.

Kooks Street Sleeper is another great option!

Ive got the full LG setup through high flow cats and love the sound, though sometimes I'd like it to be louder

Larger Cylinder bores will do it too, with a big lumpy cam...

Do u not have a crossover like an xpipe or hpipe? U should have one it will help with sound and especially performance.
