You have no chance in the v6... Even in a v8 you would have little chance. The 5.0 is a really good engine and the fox body mustangs are pretty damn light.

hey guys, this is for anyone who cares, but these are the results of the race
1st.mustang 2nd.camaro 3rd.firebird in the end, it was really close between me and the mustang, because, as i said he isnt a good driver, and he had a short burnout at the start. he only won by about 6-10 ft, and the firebird hadnt even come around the last turn, which is about 100 ft away from the finish. thnx for all your input!! |

maybe, only if the Firebird has a 2.8L. I had a 91 Camaro RS, it had a 3.1L.

For my first Camaro, an older Berlinetta, I put an old truck 350 down in it. Wasn't much faster, but it was fun and I learned a lot.

Remove 2 spark plugs LMAO well dude to be honest with you that mustang has a 5.0 so you will mostly likely lose, and might not be very close either, now if you had a 5.0 its a diffrent story.

yeah dude he really must suck at driving, i went camaro vs. stang against a friends 5.0 stang, he had stick i have auto both had 5.0L engines, and i barely stayed next to him, and my motor is strong and his was pretty crappy, still as much as i hate to admit it, those 5.0 stangs have beast's under their hoods, i chose camaros when i was 4 because i hate the way mustangs look, especially the fox's,but yeah im a camaro man through and through they just have so much class to them,
it looks like you have also done a ton of work to make your berlinetta look like an iroc, why not drop a 350 tpi in her and call it a day, you will have the most powerful car out of the 3 then for sure |

The Mustang is going to destroy you. No doubt in my mind about that. It's also going to destroy the Firebird, even if it does have a 305. Did you put a Z28/IROC-Z fascia, wheels, and ground effects and hood on your Berlinetta? It sure looks like an IROC to me... EDIT: I just saw the turnout of the race. As soon as your Mustang buddy learns how to drive a stick he's going to put bus lengths on you. You should think about swapping in a TPI motor. I'm selling mine for a good price. It will be out of the car probably sometime in June.
