first of all, there were no iroc-z cars past 1990, that's why you don't see any in 92.

second, there's a lot more difference in the 305 and the 350 than bore size. the heads are totally different, among a dozen other things The guys at thirdgen will be able to tell you more.

having said that, I would rather have a 305 5 speed than a 350 with an automatic. your car is nice, and the high rise spoiler is starting to grow on me (didn't used to like it)

but no, your car isn't anything more desirable than any other 92 z28, but that doesn't mean it's not a nice car, it is. in 92 there were a few things that might make a car go up in collectors value.... and I don't think your car is any of them

1. 1LE
2 B4C cop car
3 350 TPI
4. heritage edition with the stripes

here's a thread you should read

LOL, TGO is great for information. I ran your VIN, so far it all checks out but with out the SPID, i can't give any specific options the car may or may not have/came with.

I shot him a PM so he will know you were asking to have it removed. it probably not that big of a deal, but i understand. i wont post mine either... tho I am sure somewhere its on here!

Shoot me that SPID whenever you get time. I dont need a pic if you just want to list all the options. Its really cool see what they all mean.

Here is my 89 IROC, Ordered it and got it new, June 1989 and sold in 1991, I found it and bought it back in 2008. 350tpi, 700r4 with the terrible 2.73 rear end. what was i thinking!

Bone stock except for Flowmaster catback.

Let me know if you have any questions about your car or thrid gens in general. A lot of people hate on them, but i love mine!

Give me about 15 min and I will post the results.

Thanks! Mine has just over 87,000 miles on it and is in near mint condition, other than needing ANOTHER paint job. It will be its third but this time I am not F-ing around. In june we are stripping to bare metal and starting over. I am tired of shit pealing off!

Looks like your car had at least the front painted at one point. The headlight buckets should be black like mine and its missing the fog lights.

ok i appreciate it. i wish mine was in that kind of condition. i know its had a new rear end as well as radiator. i was wondering y there were no headlight buckets or fog lights. but i have plans on restoring slight rust spots over fendor. and repainting the original victory red. more importantly lol my clear coat comes off by about a .5 inch a day and im sick of it too
