Things to do in Indy week leading up to the Fest 2013

In case anyone is heading into town early I thought we (local guys) could throw suggestions of things to do for the guests arriving into town early.

July 28 - Brickyard 400 Race

How about some suggestions on where to eat as well? I found a few nice places last year but I know there is some more.

Here is a good link to search for restaurants downtown

http://www.indydt.com/search.cfm?menu=restaurant

Everyone has their favorites. Guess it depends on what type of food your looking for

I can tell you a bunch of us from Chicago 5th gen camaro club went to the INDY track and got the royal tour including Press Boxes ect last year, It was the best thing I suggested as a last minute to do, I would reccomend it to anyone. They have a couple of different tours and the particular weekend we went last year they were offering the big VIP tour which they only do twice a year from what I understand, Maybe some organizers of the C5fest can give them a call and tell them to put it on their list and hire some extra staff cause we got a boatload of people coming into town that weekend. You will not be dissappointed !!

Fast times go cart track is really fun and is for adults. You have to wear the suit and helmets. Recently went as a team building activity. It was a blast
