Warning! Got to vent!

Here we go another weekend and week of fricken rain. It seems every weekend so far has been screwed for any car shows or just going out for a cruise. Look at the forecast for the next ten days and it's rain everyday.

OK, got that out, now I can go into the shop and look at my beautiful detailed Camaro while I sip some suds and play some tunes to ease my disappointment.

Oh, and thanks for listening.

I hear ya. We finally got 3 or 4 nice top down days last week, prior to that the car had only been out of the garage about 4 times this year... but now the forecast for the next 10 days is almost all rain.

I think I've checked the weather more since buying a convertible than the 35 years before that combined.

There was brief hope for today according to the weather forecast earlier this week but I woke up today to more rain. I'm in the middle of detailing so I guess I get an extension.

Not sure the interior electronics (or the wife and daughter ) would appreciate that.

You mean the emergency umbrella that hides in the trunk? We used that once, didn't care for it. Handy if you get caught away from home in an unexpected shower, but not at all what we bought the car for.

Rain don't stop me, unless it is a severe thunderstorm and then I will hide!

The new Comrando? The whole point of this thread is driving a convertible with the top down

I feel your pain, Idaho summers are terribly short, and we just had three weeks of Seattle-like rain. The payoff is that the last week has been mid 80's and not a cloud in the sky. Wife and I got in 4 solid hours of cruising yesterday, even got a little burned.

If electronics and passengers are getting wet, you're not driving fast enough!
