I know this is going to be a pretty opened ended question, but I am looking for the best bang for the buck for mods.

I have 3 grand to drop in my bone stock SS (daily driver), what would you pick up for a stock SS if you had 3K to drop on it?

I'd say come down to Houston, give me $1300 and I'll give you my Kooks headers with high flow cats, my CAI (w/ filter recharge kit), and an Apex air scoop w/ washer fluid relocate. All are 1 year old. (Car is not a DD, it's a garage queen.)

Then you still have $1700 left to spend.

Basically what everyone else is saying. Long Tubes /high flows, A good Cold air, a ported throttle body and whatever Catback has the sound you want and a good tune.

Motor sound? Long tubes will def get you taken care of with that. You can get an aftermarket cat back if you still want more volume. There are lots of options as far as exhaust.

If you get my stuff, I'll show you what "Loud" is.

You could save a little more and add a camshaft to the equation too.

Ooooo oooo, forgot this. The single best appearance mod I've done. Now it sits where it should. 1" drop only makes a world of difference. Park it beside a stock height Camaro and shake your head.
