Stage 2 for Edelbrock supercharger ???
Hey guys, I just picked up a 2011 SS with a Edelbrock e force charger. The car also has dynotech headers and high flow cats and a cold air intake. The previous owner had it dyno’d and it made 490 RWHP. Seems low to me. It’s a LS3 and 6 speed car. What you guys opinion? Maybe the just a bad tuning job? It does have stock exhaust. After the cats. I was thinking about doing a cat back or deleting cats? Any options on deleting the cats and exhaust reconditions? I do t want rappy sounding exhaust. Thanks for the advise in advance.

I would say 490 sounds a little low but not way out so it could be just a little low reading dyno. If you still have the ZL1 run it at the same time and I would think they should be similar.
Cat back won't add anything. Deleting cats would help some, but I don't know enough to speculate a number. |

Ya I was thinking to ditch the cats. Sold the 2014 zl1 a while ago. It was probably very close to these numbers or a little less. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The catback wont' gain you to much power and neither will deleting the cats. If you delete the cats it will get raspy though.
We had a car come in with a TVS2300 and it made 470rwhp or something kind of low like that. The tune was a bit soft (stock Maggie tune most likely) and the car was otherwise stock (M6). We did a pulley, cam and headers and it gained about 100rwhp. The key is what pulley you go with, in this case we didn't even push the blower much harder. If we dropped a couple more pulley sizes we could have made significantly more power but the customer wasn't looking to get to crazy. We've done a few LS3s with Eatons and have made up 750rwhp on the stock LS3 before. Just depends what you're looking to do. Hit us up and we can get a package together for you. |

Ya raspy is not my thing. I was thinking cam, springs and fuel system upgrade. I shooting for 580-600 rwhp. E85 is not available where I live so I have 91 octane limit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'd suspect tuning. What psi are you seeing? I was around 575 with CAI exhaust and whipple with 10psi. I don't know much about the edelbrock though.

It’s the stock pulley on the kit. No idea on boost levels as I just bought it and there is no gauge. Any reconditions on boost gauges? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Stock pulley? So I need a zl1 pump, injectors and a fuel rail and I should be good to go? Where did you source them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes to stock pully. ZLI fuel pump from GM Parts.Injectors from Jeremy Formato. It wasn't new fuel rails. It was a fuel rail upgrade kit from Jannetty Racing. It hocked the fuel line to the rear of both fuel rails.
