Yep, my Monte came that way. It is a Dale Jr. Signature Monte SS.

I also have the Earnhardt SR, Intimidator one too and it has the same insert except black.

its not the holesi hate, because once i put holes they will be covered by the plate...
what i hate, is having any plate at all there. thats why im waiting to get a show n go we its confirmed to work

or one that attaches in the lower 'grille'? i mean the front plate bracket on the Solstice mounts to the grill using the honeycomb style holes in the grilles.

yeah.... i think I'm just gonna go as long as I can without the front plate. if I start getting fined for it i'll end up getting one. But till then, nuh uh!

Both of my kids have been pulled over for it.
I just warned my son the other day after seeing his plate on the dash, reminded him how his Sis got a ticket for it. About an hour later, I get a phone call, he just got pulled over by a trooper for no front plate. Jinxed him I guess.

Texas law states that the plate has to be on the most front part of the car. I wont have a plate either though.

I drove a Peterbilt for a few years. I did not like the brakets either. I went to a car glass place and bought a roll of butyl tape.
It works
