Leaking orange! Any ideas what it could be please?
Hi all,
I've noticed today that I've got some leaking orange fluid on the floor under my Camaro (2010 V6). Looks to be a couple of droplets. Any thoughts on what/where this could be please - and to what level does my worry-meter need to be at? Thanks! Paul. http://motorcloud.net/wp-content/upl...20/10/leak.jpg |

Orange is (usually) coolant.

The Chevy place said my thermostat was going bad. So we replace the thermostat Housing and Thermostat along with some hoses ($900). then 3 Months later the Drivers side head gasket let go($7000). Mine you i was doing everything i could do to save the timing chains Regular oil changes Maintenance on Coolant.
When I got a new engine, I Got it with a 3YR/30,000 warranty in writing, and that included everything they had to take off the car. These engines are just not good for a 100,000 miles in the 2010 - 2012 Camaro's I'm sorry, but they are just not good engines, I just love the way the car feels.

Thanks everyone. Sounds potentially terminal then.
I'll get it checked out by a specialist next I think before I drive it any more just to be on the safe side. Lets hope its just a leaky pipe! |

common leak on 3.6 is coolant inlet housing seals.
