I flew in from PHX for this just to see how big it actually is... But I don't have my car, so I'll be cruising around in my buddy's '66 Comet.

I will be out there! Gonna drive like a baby tho...atleast for 100 miles...then its hammertime! haha maybe not...too scared...need to build up some trust in this car again!

I plan on going there either Thursday or Friday evening. I work a mile from Woodward and it was jumping around noon today.

It was in full swing when I stopped by 13 & Woodward for th eGM Design exibit at about 5:30. I can just imagine what it'll be like later on today let alone for the next few days.

There are sign up indicating Woodward will be shut down at 10:00pm on Friday and 9:00pm on Saturday.

Got VIP tickets for Friday to the Chevy tent or something in Memorial Park? Not sure if I'll be heading there or to hang out with the folks up at Square Lake and Woodward in the Staples plaza. I'm driving my '94 to work tomorrow so I can drive straight to Woodward from the Ren Cen.

Chevrolet Performance at Memorial Park

The Chevrolet Performance display will be open
from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 16 and 17 and
from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 18 at Memorial Park,
on the northeast corner of Woodward and 13 Mile Road.

The display will include a collection of
performance show vehicles and production vehicles,
a motorsports display, and a variety of Chevrolet performance parts.

I'm pretty sure I just saw you out on Woodward about an hour ago. Unless someone has the same car and plate. I headed dowm on my lunch hour. I was standing on the side of the road enjoying some icecream and saw you blow by.

I'll look for y'all out at Memorial Park as well as up at Square Lake. This will be the 13th or 14th year in a row that I've gone (can't remember when I started going!). They've only been doing it (officially) since 1995, so I've been almost every year! It is absolutely unbelievable. For those that have never been, you have to experience it at least once. I think a few years back, they set a record of over 2 million people, but numbers have dwindled down a bit since the economy took a dump, but still expecting over 1 million people this year. Great times! Hope to see y'all out there and be safe!

Blew by, huh? Was my Asian neighbor driving? The power corrupted him - absolutely- as he usually drives a (cough) Camry. Having a blast. Two C5 Camaros right out front of the Roush Open House today. Nice to see.
