I'm 6'2 with a sunroof and I hate the headroom. My 1LE or ZL1 won't have a sunroof.

I can't really sway my feelings on the mod ability of the ls3 so I guess I'm gonna go sunroofless

I find that incredibly odd because I am 6'9" tall, and for some of the cars on the list (Jeep liberty, Nissan Z, and Porsche Boxster, I can not even squeeze into the seats to drive). On the camaro however, I scoot the seat UP a hair from the furthest back, and have no problem seeing anything except traffic lights (but a light-in-sight cost me only $10 and solved that problem).

So I have been driving it since 2009, and I love the fit of the camaro. I was so happy to find a car that was so great for tall drivers. How in heck did it get listed as the worst car for tall drivers??? it makes no sense whatsoever???

Anyone else have a take on it?

I just got a light in sight...awesome. Being 6'4" and driving a Camaro at red lights OS a breeze now.

On any other vehicle that I've ever owned, I put one foot in and then sat down, then lifted the other foot in. With my Camaro however, because the roof line is so low, I have to sit down first, then swing both legs in, and I still bump my head sometimes getting in. That's why I wish Camaro's had the swivel seats that came with some of the early 70's Oldsmobile cars.
Im 6'2" or 6'3" and dont have to do this, I have long legs and still put one foot in first. Maybe its how I have my seat?

But I have to assume that the OP, being 6'9", having no complaints, would mean that the car can accomodate anyone lol

I like that the nissan Z and boxster show up as worst car for tall drivers, and worst for short drivers. I guess they are judst crappy cars.

Also, my midget of a wife drives an FJ cruiser and has never had any complaints, so the FJ being on the worst cars for short people is also BS

What do you think solves the no headroom and wanting a sunroof problem

I have to comment from the other side of the height spectrum.... I'm 5'3" and there are a few things about my car that make me feel (even more) like a midget.

The biggest thing I notice is that the shoulder strap of my seatbelt lies across my lower/side neck, not my shoulder. I would LOVE for where it attaches to the side of the car to be adjustable up and down so I could correct this. There have been several times where I've tried to tug it lower and have wondered what sort of neck/collar bone damage I could get in a hard front end collision.

The seat also felt wide at first, but I've adjusted and I really enjoy the space now. I feel more confident in this car because it almost feels like a tank compared to my size.
