If you are getting the mileage figures you claim, maybe you should go to work for GM and show their experts how it's done.

Don't get me wrong - it will still show respectable MPGs, but I expect it will be more in the 24-26 range at best. That will be a much more accurate "average" MPG reading.
I was not posting to show average, I was showing what it was able to get.

I do have all the averages thou.

I record everything as many of my fellow V6 folks know I have spreadsheets on a ton of stuff.

How about my monthly fuel economy? (graph posted)

I have over 65K miles to date, and my avg. is 24 mpg. this includes 166 passes at the 1/4 mile track, countless days at the road track doing fun laps and more nights out on Woodward than I can even count.

That is a very impressive chart. But can you fill up your car and take a picture of the fuel range on the DIC.

Been there done that too.

Best I ever saw was 570 but had no camera or phone that could take that photo.

Since then I have seen the following 509 and 511 photos provided on a thread I started a while ago.

If you have never reset your DIC MPGs in those 65K miles I'll give you that, but I don't think that's the case. Impressive graphing and stat effort though.

palmer, the only time i hit the reset on mine was at the begining of my trip which was easy couple hundred miles ( loganville to lagrange and back) but noticed the what i hear to be made up figure on the way home still on 85. i have not had it on the highway since so it can't be backed up at this point but g.d. it was over 1 hour from home. and for the record, i have seen other people on here that ido not know with the same tale

500+ miles on a full tank is very impressive. But it is believable in a V6, still quite impressive.
