i pulled up to a traffic light along side a mustang gt convertible, that old rival. he raced his motor and i raced mine. the light was red, the light on the other side went orange, getting ready for a green and he said " how many holes you got in your top "
As he raced away, and i skulked away pretending i was going into the next parking lot. he had won without a tire being spun.

got mine back today - mechanic forgot to properly connect headliner under rear windshield. Question for everyone:

when you look into your rear windshield from outside, does the fabric that holds the roof (when it's retracted) sag down some? I never noticed before & was just wondering.

Good question, mine does sag now but I don't remember this sag before I had all the TSBs done ? I think it's time to stop and see one on the lot.

I have yet to have any top work done and I have not noticed any sag between the 5th bow and where the top meets the back of the car.

No, he's talking about the cloth piece you se when you look from the outside directly down through the back window. There is a cloth piece that spans from one side of the car to the other. The window rests on this when the top is retracted.

Yes, mine has the cloth sag when looking down through the back window glass. I have not had any work done.

On another note, does this look normal for behind the doors where the top connects to the rear quarterpanel? I swear the buckling of the cloth is getting worse with time. I had to use a flashlight to illustrate the buckling.
