MPG...wow

Just came back from a 2 hour trip. Reset average MPG as I got on Interstate 95 North from Beaufort to Sumter, SC. Averaged 29.5 MPG with cruise set at 74 MPH. Roto-Fab intake is all I've done to it. Last week I averaged 25 MPG in what turned out to be over a 1000 mile trip from SC to WV and back. Lots of up and down the mountain driving.

It's nice to have a car that you can have fun in and get decent gas mileage in too. : )

That's awesome! I just posted on another forum that the best I can on the interstate is a little over 22mpg with the AC off. With it on, I'm hard pressed to hit 20mpg.
Impressive!!!

The v6 gets excellent gas mileage thats why I don't want to downgrade to an SS

I would love to have an SS, but for the traveling me and my wife do, the V6 made more sense for us. I've got a good gas mileage 4-banger and a gas-hog Silverado, so the V6 Camaro fits nicely right in the middle for us. LOL

This was cruising at around 50 MPH headed out to Hunting Island State Park. As soon as I hit stop-and-go traffic, it dropped back down to the 23 MPG range.

I'm getting about 30 MPG on the highway running about 75MPH. Great car on for gas mileage/fun factor combination.

the dic is not accurate. usually gets 3-4 mpg worse than what it tells you

do the math

still great MPGs but don't base MPG off what your camaro tells you... she exaggerates so as not to be traded in (;

I'd probably get better mpg if I could stop getting on it, but I can't. I'm good with getting 23 mpg. My 2002 Monte Carlo got 24 mpg and had way less power.
