AFM

Mine is really noticeable now that I have installed a k&n cai and magnaflow cat back, it was hardly noticeable stock. Just gonna have to get used to it! The snappy throttle response and power are worth it!

The degree of vibration/droan from the AFM on the L99 may vary from car to car.
I have never felt any vibration of any kind on my SS. I now have aftermarket exhaust (Solo J-pipes) and still can't tell when my engine shifts from 8 to 4 cyl. I totally insulated my unibody with sound-deadening material when I got it- Maybe that helps.

Good bye GM forever!
Just remember you had one the next time a tuned out CAMARO blows the doors off your Challenger :chevy :

Same here. 2011 v6 Automatic. Went to the dealer and drove others they all make the same noise. Sounds like you are on a rumble strip just not quite that loud. its at lower speeds between 35 to 40. Or between gears at low speeds. Dealer drove my car, heard the noise. Then let me drive others. Said they would make a note of it and report the issue. Said not to worry, that they all do it,and shouldn't hurt anything. Maybe so, but seems GM could fix this easy. And it gets very annoying at times when trying to drive through a 35 mph town.

I actually spoke to our Technical Assistance team and they told me that the main culprits for this issue are the Active Fuel Management system, wheels/tires, vehicle options or aftermarket accessories (depending on the accessory). I hope that gives something of an answer to what may be going on with your vehicles. So far I haven't seen any documentation on any changes to the Active Fuel Management system and have not heard of any in the works either. Thank you for your time.

my LS4 Impala SS had AFM, once i threw the Magnaflow exhaust on it you could really hear the AFM come on and off, kind of makes me Leery about throwing an exhaust on my charger w/ the similar MDS
