I'm not one for the general masses & all that SLP crap all over the car & houndstooth seats, etc(no disrespect), I like the sleeper approach, but you can hear the when of the OD Cog Drive from a block away... That's why I built my own SLP car. First one at the time built in California, last October. Getting a custom blower Comp cam, Bosch Racing 127lb Injectors, little work done to the valve springs & pushrods, RX Monster Catch Can, titanium rockers & retainers, Extreme dual spring kit, and a few other goodies installed as I type by Cunningham Motorsports...The HP in my sig was the SLP kit rating, it's a little past that
SLP MaggieTVS 2300 Stage 2 Kit SLP X-Pipe & Loudmouth II Exhaust Kooks LTs, no cats OD Cog Drive & 3.6 pulley Meth in stock washer bottle RX Ported, painted Throttle Body, Breather cap, Billet pulleys replaced all stock pulleys. Jannetty Racing Super tensioner ZR1 3 Bar Map ZL1 Fuel Pump with booster Pedder's Supercar Coilovers, Camber/Castor Plates, Bushing kit Granatelli Suspension Brace & Hi-performance Coils & Wires Autometer dual A-Piller pod with ProSports EVO Series Wideband & Boost gauges Oracle lighting, Concept LED Ghosted Mirrors, Plasmas, LED Markers Custom painted interior with ABL & Ambient Footwell lighting MPD! Z-Force True Ram induced hood with heat extractor, rear spoiler & smooth rear exhaust panel 3dCarbon Functional Front Vents, side rockers & rear spats I could type my mods & post pics for the next 2 hours, but that's what Build Journals are for.

It's an entire diffuser with the tips. I been keeping an eye on it myself. SLP sometimes sells batches of repairable blem parts on E-bay to the general public. This was how I got my SLP ZL585 high lip rear spoiler last month.

I'm sure PeeBee will agree that these rides are beasts on the track! I was incredibly impressed by how the ZL performed and have a much greater respect for these builds!
This was at summit point, what a blast. I highly recommend anyone that owns any level of SLPs ZLs to get some track time... Last edited by Tribute; 12-19-2012 at 07:18 PM. |
