6L80 Fluid Pan

Could anybody advise, what is the difference between 24222657 and 24297104 ? Both are in the GM catalog. 24297104 is slightly more expencive.

How many magnets in the fluid pan ?

Thank you !

Looking at Rock Auto description, the only difference is that 24297104 comes with what they call a "drain plug". However, that looks like the fluid level check plug to me.

Doesn't look like either one comes with the magnets.

They have different dimensions on rockauto. Maybe 24297104 has increased oil capacity

You could always call them and find out what the difference is in them.

There are a lot of different oil pans for 6l80e transmissions. They will probably pretty much all interchange onto the trans but only the 24297104 is listed for the Camaro.
