Not doubting you, but can you please post where you found that picture, what the item numbers are for that jack stand, etc..... My brief amateur attempt at Googling found me no results regarding the replacement stands.

I'm not knocking on Harbor Freight jack stands, I'm sure they're ok to use for our Z/28 weight and I've used mine in the past with no problem. I also know that cheap metal and spot weld will loose it's strength over time in outside condition (rust from inside out).

I'm not going to take any chances for $40 jack stands. I ordered some Esco jack stands with pins. In my 50 + years, I only know one guy who's jack stand failed and it crushed his legs only. Glad he's alive. Probability is very low, but you never know, you could be the lucky winner!
