True but with the acs vents it's just to close to the head unit for me to feel comfortable. Has anyone here mounted their hex vents in the sides of the cowl?

Seems like it would be too much. Where would put the hex vents? They couldn't be in normal position with the new SS vent, right?

The guy that was in line after me was trying to get his outside the cowl. I wasn't able to hang around long enough to see if it was done. Looking at the underside of the hood, it looks like there would be a lot more cutting involved.

I would say that would be Overkill... atleast from a looks perspective.

But it's you care do what you like...
I'm just finishing a Hex Vent install with a ACS hood liner althought the hood liner has not been painted yet, I really don't see how it makes it a mess for for showing your car. The hood liner wil be painted SIM and the the black plastic drip trays will be IOM witch will match with the custom painted engine cover.

Thanks! Will look even better once the paint work is complete. Probably trim a little bit off the support tabs as well for a cleaner look.

Looks really good. I am going to install the acs liner on my hot wheels Camaro soon. Once you get it painted, it's going to look super!
