Vinyl Wrapping... HOW MUCH $$ ???

So after seeing the post about the Matte Black Camaro that was vinyl wrapped.... I got to thinking.... I'd love to do this to spice things up a bit for winter.... a different color/finish... also thinking it might protect my paint from the winter road conditions too.

Has anyone else looked into this?? How much does it cost to color-wrap a car ??? Hell.... if its a few hundred.... I can see myself changing colors twice a year... or whenever the hell i feel like it !

I'm in graphic design and I've seen a few marketing auto wraps go for 5-6K installed--and most of that is the installation labor.

I read in Hot Rod or one of the car mags that it was $3000
to $5000 to wrap an entire car. Does not sound like it is worth it to me, other than being able to change back to original color fairly easily.

Won't you have to strip it all off and then strip off the adhesives? Sounds like a mess to me, but a cheap way to customize - well, not cheap if it's THAT price!!

How obvious is it that it is a wrap? And how hard of upkeep is it to keep it clean/repair?

Its too pricey vinyl alone will cost you a grand and it's labor intensive and the local shop here usually do it for around 2k so yea really expensive
