2013 Hot Wheels Pricing Question

How much do you think a 2013 2SS Manual Coupe with 985 miles in mint condition sell for in today's market?

$20k if lucky and if Saturn is aligned with Venus, it's too early for collector sales of any kind.

19k trade in
20k private party*
23k retail

*Subtract $2,500 for a new set of tires

Can PM me the VIN for more specific pricing.

Thank you guys... regardless of Hot Wheels this is still a brand new car that has basically been on display in a very cool man cave.

So a pretty solid buy for someone in that price range.

The super low mile ones are going for 35k on AutoTrader. Others in the upper 20's

That is if they actually sell for that.

yw, my price list above is directly from the industry Black Book.

Advertised retail pricing for HW & Dusk are still $28k (price hasn't moved in 2 years).

Collector Stated Value (insured value) is $40-50k

In my opinion certain cars like this cannot follow a book for pricing. If stored and maintained properly, there will be some (not many) who are looking for certain cars with super low miles in better condition than new. Those are the buyers you are looking for.

it's all about how long you want to sit on it and wait for that buyer to come.

There are certainly outliers, but the market simply doesn't support a theory that unicorn buyers exist willing to pay 30% above market. Especially when there are far better deals to be had, like the '13 Z/TA supercharged whipple conversion in perfect condition that just went on the market yesterday for under $30k.

I wouldn't take less than $25k even for a quick sale. It's a niche collector car and ones like this are few and far between.
Advertise it nationwide on multiple websites and hold tight. Deter the tire kickers and lowballers and get $27k-$30k. It could take 6 months - 1 year to sell.

I totally agree. He has a buyer but just had no clue what to ask.

This guy has the ultimate man cave with a matching hot wheels cars and thousands of hot wheels in his collection. This car was a nice centerpiece.

But the truck gets shown more.

Doubt it, but if you don't ask stupid prices you can't win stupid prizes.

He listed it for $34,995.
