Opinion on painting rims gloss black
Just want some opinions on painting my wheels gloss black. Thanks!

Don't paint them, they will chip long term, get them gloss black powder coated.

I have those same rims painted black (from the factory), I love the silver on black look!

I have gloss black rims on mine... look nice when clean. But they are a brake dust and dirt magnet. PITA to keep clean.

there painted from the factory . silver you can go either way it will still look good.

Here's my factory gloss black. It's very easy to clean, especially since I changed to ceramic brake pads shortly after I brought my baby home!

Definitely go black. So much more of an aggressive and badass look. I prefer matte black myself however.

I was thinking from a pure ascetics point of view, that the silver wheels on that silver car are just dead sexy! However, I can see where a black set of wheels would look good too.
As others said, if you're going to change the color, get them powder coated. It holds up MUCH better than paint. However, in the end a curb will eat through all of it and you'll have a giant silver spot on your black wheel if you do something to them and have an unfortunate meeting with a curb. If it were me, I'd leave them alone and spend that money elsewhere on the car.
