2016 hotrod power tour - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I know this is ways out, but I was just curious if anyone had plans of doing the power tour? This would be you first time doing anything like this and unless something happens, I plan on doing the long hauler. From what i have read it's supposed to be starting at the Lamar Dixon expo in Gonzalez la n June 10 but don't quote me on that. I will be leaving from south of Nashville Tennessee and it would be cool if we could maybe get a group to ride down together.

Do they have the dates and route established yet? I need to bid for my vacation for next year soon and i cant find an official date/schedule?!?

As of now the only thing I have see is that it's starting on June 10th. I don't know how true that is yet so don't hold me to it. As far as the route goes,I don't think they will say until sometime next year. Nothing is official yet and I'm like you,I have to have my vacation in at the first of the year.

Heck i need to bid by dec 1st for next year...would be nice if hotrod would at least confirmed the date since alot of people that have senority based jobs need to bid for their vacations and it usually is a hassle to change them when you bid them

Dates have been announced, June 11 to June 17th. From what I am hearing the route won't be announced until january

Been doing parts of the Tour since '99, 3 time Long Hauler, wouldn't miss it at all. Some rumors have it going to Arizona, others back east, who knows. My vote would be Louisiana to Charlotte (Z-Max).

Once that's over, then we start looking forward to Drag Week!
