Hey Panther.

Yes I went with:

Koni yellows
BMR: trailing arms
toe links
front & rear sways
strut tower bar
Subframe connectors & driveshaft tunnel brace

With the wider tires she’s a beast in the handling department. It’s has BMR 1” drop springs on it, but the wife hates it so I ordered some brand new OEM springs.

The new engine, stroked to 396ci started with an LSA block, Callie’s magnum crank Callies ultra Hbeam rods, Diamond pistons (10to1 CR). TrickFlow 255 heads ported and prepared by BTR, BTR stage3 blower cam, Johnson 2110 lifters. Magnuson Heartbeat 2300TVS blower direct ported for spray by Nitrous Outlet. Squash full return style full system with ID850 injectors. 1 7/8 Kooks long tubes with no cats and Corsa 3” exhaust. The drivetrain is stock except for a one piece aluminum DSS driveshaft. I still race the car at local tracks. It’s run 10.44@133mph on 91 octane pump gas. 9.98@138mph on VP109 race gas and 9.62@145 on race gas/ 150 shot of nitrous. I run a 17” Bogart race wheel setup with 305/45R17 Mickey Thompson ET street R radials. The car has been 60’ in the low 1.4’s since I had the rears beadlocked.

I hear the Koni’s ride stiff. I have all the suspension components, but, run a stock SS shock with my Hotchkis springs. Rides nice. I bet it looks nice down an inch. Too bad you have to go back to stock height.

It was rubbing on the strut so that’s why you see the spacers on the front hubs, then it was rubbing on the fender lip. The wide tires are more important to me than the 1” drop, so maybe she’ll be happy and it’ll be a win-win.

She’s worth keeping happy. Us in Disney World in September:

As they say, happy wife, happy life. Great pic. Should have pm’d me when you were out here. I see your wearing your Die Mannschaft jersey. I threw mine in the closet after their performance at the World Cup.

We were in Orlando.

We are going to Disneyland in June or July for the first time ever. My oldest daughter is living in San Diego now, so we are flying out to see her. We are Disney Vacation Club members so we go every year.

Yeah, the Germans aren’t playing very well of late.

Cool that you have older kids. I didn’t get started young with kids. Talk about where did all the “Old timers go?” thread. Here I am now at 61 with my 48 year old wife and a 4-1/2 year old son. Better late than never. The greatest gift in life. Luckily I still have all my hair and it isn’t grey. PM me if it is convenient when you come out. We’re both on our second marriage.

Thanks. You guys are looking good and you’re staying in great shape. I guess you better be as a LEO with all the DH’s you have to deal with. Way to score with the younger woman. Wasn’t this the girl you posted up over a year ago and you were engaged?
