Sparkplug Boot ?????
What is the best and safest way to pull these off to get to the plug? Do you pull the metal heat shield or the part inside the shield?

Get a firm grip on the shield, and the little piece of rubber boot that sticks out at the base of the shield (part closest to the engine), and wiggle and twist, all while pulling outward. It will come. Instead of a few yanking motions , just keep a constant pull outward and it will pop off. It works alot better than trying to pull a few different times, to just pull once with all your might. |
